Is a Kaabo the right scooter for you?
Kaabo has been building electric scooters since 2013, and the brand now reaches riders in more than 60 countries. Most people know it for the Wolf models, but the range is broader than the extreme-performance end suggests.
What matters is where you ride and how often you will need to carry the scooter. A lighter Mantis Urban solves a very different problem from a 67kg Wolf King GTR Max, even though both carry the Kaabo name.
For urban commuting and easier storage, start with the Mantis Urban. The Mantis 10 Plus V2 adds dual-motor power for longer rides and steeper routes, while the Mantis King GT moves further into performance territory. Wolf Warrior and Wolf King models are considerably heavier and make more sense for experienced riders who want off-road ability or flagship power. Skywalker models sit at the lighter end of Kaabo’s wider range, although current Australian availability should be confirmed before ordering.
As Kaabo’s official Australian dealer, Scooter Hut handles warranty and after-sales support locally. Current models can be viewed online, with servicing available through our stores and authorised repair network. If you're cross-shopping wider, our performance electric scooter range shows what else is on the table.
How to choose your Kaabo
Start with the journey you make most often. Think about its distance, the steepest hill and whether the scooter will ever need to go up stairs or into a car boot. The comparison table will narrow the options, and our team can talk through the final choice using experience from the showroom and workshop.
Why buy Kaabo from us
Official Australian Kaabo dealer. Every new Kaabo purchased through Scooter Hut includes authorised Australian warranty support and access to local servicing.
Service support after purchase. Scooter Hut stores operate in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, with authorised repair options available in other areas. Contact the team first if you live outside those cities so they can explain the nearest service option.
Genuine Kaabo parts. Scooter Hut stocks Kaabo parts and accessories locally, although availability varies by model. Confirm stock before ordering if you need a particular tyre, tube, charger or replacement component.
Find the right Kaabo for your ride
The differences become clearer once you look at where each model is comfortable and how much scooter you are prepared to move when the motor is off. If dual-motor power is your priority across brands, our dual-motor scooter range is worth a look too.
Skywalker series
The Skywalker 8, 8S and 10C belong to the lighter, commuter-focused end of Kaabo’s wider catalogue. Their smaller frames and folding designs suit shorter journeys and riders who need easier storage. The 10C moves to 10-inch pneumatic tyres for better comfort on uneven tarmac. Skywalker models are not currently shown in Scooter Hut’s online Kaabo collection, so check availability with the team before relying on a particular version.
Mantis series
Scooter Hut’s current Mantis range covers three fairly different riders. At 20kg, the Mantis Urban is the easiest to carry and store. The Mantis 10 Plus V2 adds twin 1000W motors and up to 75km of claimed range, making it better suited to hills and longer commutes. Mantis King GT sits at the performance end, with dual 1100W motors and adjustable oil-spring suspension. It is intended for intermediate or experienced riders rather than someone buying their first electric scooter.
Wolf Warrior series
The current Wolf Warrior X+ brings Kaabo’s twin-stem stability into a more compact Wolf model. It uses dual 1100W motors, 10-inch all-terrain tyres and front hydraulic suspension paired with a rear spring. At 33.8kg, it is still a substantial scooter, but it is considerably easier to manage than a Wolf King GTR. It suits experienced riders who want one scooter for sealed roads and rougher recreational terrain.
Wolf King series
Wolf King GTR and GTR Max sit at the top of Scooter Hut’s current Kaabo range. Both use dual 2000W motors and weigh more than 60kg, so they are not casual commuter scooters or practical choices for regular lifting. The GTR has a claimed maximum range of 180km, while the larger GTR Max is rated for up to 200km under test conditions. Their unrestricted mechanical speeds are intended for private-property use where permitted. Check the laws that apply in your state before riding in public.
Kaabo models compared side-by-side
Use this to shortlist two or three, then talk to our team about the final call. Suspension comfort is one of the biggest differences between series, and our scooters with suspension explains why it matters.

Top speeds shown on individual product pages are the scooter's mechanical capability. Australian on-road use is subject to state and territory PMD rules, so check what's legal in your area before you ride.
Gear up your Kaabo
Kaabo parts are model-specific, particularly tyres, tubes and chargers, so check compatibility before ordering. Scooter Hut also carries helmets, protective gear, phone mounts and pumps. If a part needs workshop fitting, ask the store before purchase so you know whether installation is available locally.
Security matters more the further up the range you go. On a higher-value Kaabo, a lightweight cable lock is rarely enough for unattended parking. Choose the lock around where the scooter will be left and for how long. Browse our scooter locks built for high-value Kaabo builds.
Kaabo vs other performance brands
Scooter Hut sells both Kaabo and Dualtron, and the better choice usually becomes obvious once you compare equivalent models rather than the badges alone.
Riders often shortlist Kaabo when twin-stem stability and rough-surface performance matter most. Local parts and authorised support are another practical reason to consider it in Australia. The Wolf series in particular is hard to beat if you want a scooter that shrugs off trails and rough surfaces. Kaabo also has a strong local parts pipeline through us as the official dealer.
Dualtron may suit someone who prefers a more road-focused, sport-tuned feel, but the comparison should be made model by model. If you're cross-shopping premium performance brands, browse our Dualtron range and compare directly. Better still, come into a showroom. If both models are available locally, a test ride will reveal differences in stance, throttle response and suspension feel that specifications cannot show.

Kaabo questions, clearly answered
Is Scooter Hut an authorised Kaabo dealer in Australia?
Yes. Scooter Hut is Kaabo’s official Australian dealer. New Kaabo scooters purchased through Scooter Hut include authorised warranty support and access to local service options. Scooter Hut’s warranty does not cover products bought from another retailer, although paid repairs may be available. Contact the team before bringing in a scooter purchased elsewhere.
What's the difference between the Kaabo Wolf and Mantis series?
Mantis models are lighter and better suited to regular commuting. Mantis Urban is the most portable, while the Mantis 10 Plus V2 and Mantis King GT add progressively more power. Wolf models are heavier and aimed at experienced riders who prioritise stability, range or recreational off-road use. Wolf Warrior X+ is the more manageable Wolf, while the GTR models sit at the flagship end.
How fast is a Kaabo scooter and where can I legally ride it in Australia?
Kaabo scooters vary widely in mechanical top speed, from entry Skywalkers through to flagship Wolf King models. The top speed you'll see on a product page is what the scooter is mechanically capable of, not necessarily what's legal on Australian roads or paths. Personal mobility device (PMD) rules vary by state and territory, covering speed limits, where you can ride (roads, footpaths, shared paths, private land), helmet requirements and minimum rider age. Check the current rules for your state before you ride, and treat higher-performance Kaabos as private-land scooters unless your local rules allow otherwise.
What warranty comes with a Kaabo from Scooter Hut?
Every new Kaabo purchased from Scooter Hut comes with a 12-month limited warranty covering eligible manufacturing defects under normal personal use. Claims are handled through Scooter Hut and its authorised repair network. Wear, misuse, water damage, unauthorised repairs and commercial use are excluded, so read the current warranty policy before purchase.
Can I get finance or pay-later on a Kaabo?
Yes. We offer flexible finance and pay-later options at checkout, both online and in-store, so you can spread the cost of your Kaabo rather than paying upfront. Available options and eligibility are shown at checkout.
Do you ship Kaabo scooters Australia-wide, and where can I service mine?
Scooter Hut delivers Kaabo scooters Australia-wide, although regional freight charges may apply and orders cannot be sent to PO boxes. Current Scooter Hut stores are in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. Authorised repair options are available in other areas, so contact the team to find the nearest service provider.
