"Having ridden other high powered scooters, I have found the Mantis 10 plus v2 to be an excellent choice for an older man!! the options for speed control and take-off acceleration are highly adjustable making it a very smooth ride. I'm 53 and have it geared back to suit me, my son is lot younger, he likes to ramp it up and go fast. It's a great option for young and old!"

"LIKES Awesome scooter, great suspension and ride. Plenty of torque for heavier riders (I'm a slimline 112kg). Good quality components throughout (but still early days), very smooth acceleration without jerking or terrifying you. Brakes are very good and give confidence it will stop quickly when needed. Range is what I would expect but can be managed well with single motor button option and reducing hard acceleration. DISLIKES Folding mechanism is a real pain to use and fiddly. Not a quick process. Would seriously benefit from something far simpler (lift, slide, click) like other scooter brands. When folding you also have to use significant force to get it to latch, and it's tricky to get the latch into the almost identically sized hole. Causes it to scratch on the face from day 1. Not an easy thing to handle. It's heavy, but to be fair it's well machined and has dual motors - so that was the decision I made to go with the Mantis 10 Duo v2."
