Who InMotion suits
InMotion suits four kinds of rider. Daily commuter scooter users on flat to mixed routes. People who need to carry and store a scooter through trains, buses or lifts. Riders dealing with regular hills. And anyone wanting a heavier machine with more range headroom. Start with your route and how often you ride, then match the model to that. Not the other way around.
The S1 for everyday commuting
The S1 is the mainstream commuter pick. If you ride 5 to 15 km a day on mixed suburban surfaces and want turn signals, a brake light and suspension to smooth out rough footpaths, it does the job. Load capacity is generous for larger riders. Range and top speed are manufacturer estimates and will vary with rider weight, terrain and mode.
The RS and RS Lite
The RS and RS Lite are heavy, high-performance scooters for experienced riders with suitable storage and permitted riding space. The RS weighs 58 kg and offers the highest output and range, while the 53 kg RS Lite reduces power and battery capacity but remains a substantial performance machine. Neither is designed for easy carrying, short urban trips or routine public-transport use. The RS Jet is the lighter option within this performance family, although it still weighs approximately 40.8 kg.
The Air and Air Pro for portability
The Air and Air Pro are for riders whose commute mixes scooter time with public transport, stairs or a lift up to the office. Folded size and weight are the priority. Be honest with yourself on the trade-off. Lighter usually means smaller wheels and less range, so keep your daily distance realistic before choosing portability over a heavier commuter.
The Climber for hills
The Climber is built around motor output for gradients, which matters if your route has a serious rise you tackle every day. Rider weight has a real effect on hill performance, so a heavier rider on a steep climb will feel the difference between the Climber and an S1. If your hills are occasional and mild, the S1 is usually enough.
The C10 and C10 Pro
The C10 is a dual-motor urban model with dual suspension, a claimed range of up to 40 km and a weight of 25.3 kg. It offers more hill capability than its compact positioning may suggest, but it is not the lightest model in the InMotion range. The C10 Pro adds further capability, so compare the two listings directly before choosing.

Range and real-world riding
Real-world range is often lower than the quoted figure. Rider weight, speed, hills, wind, temperature, tyre pressure and riding mode all affect the result. Build a reasonable buffer into your required range and compare battery capacity as well as claimed kilometres. If your route pushes the limit, look at performance electric scooters for more headroom.
Parts, chargers, tyres and tubes
If you already own an InMotion and just need to keep it rolling, we stock genuine replacements. Chargers for the S1 and other models are a common ask, along with tyres and tubes as they wear. See our InMotion parts and accessories collection, and bring the scooter into a store if you want us to fit or diagnose.
Servicing and warranty
Every scooter bought from Scooter Hut includes free assembly and a safety check. Our in-house technicians handle servicing, repairs and warranty assessments across our Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane stores. New products carry a 12-month limited warranty for eligible manufacturing defects. Refurbished products carry three months. Wear, water damage, misuse and unauthorised repairs are excluded, and 30-day returns apply subject to policy. Not sure which model fits? Come in and talk it through, or grab a spare from our InMotion chargers range while you're there.
