At Scooter Hut, our expert technicians offer professional repairs and preventative maintenance to keep your e-scooter running safely and smoothly. We use genuine parts, specialised tools, and extensive experience across a wide range of premium brands.

Pricing & Service Overview

  1. Repairs
    From $49.95 per half hour
    - Minimum booking: 30 minutes
    - Suitable for: Electrical faults, mechanical issues, adjustments, tyre changes, or part replacements etc
    - Labour is charged in 30-minute increments after the first half hour
  2. Diagnosis / Assessment Fee – $79.99

    Before we begin any repair work, all scooters undergo a professional assessment.
    - This applies even if you already know what the problem is - we still need to inspect the scooter to confirm the issue, check for other safety concerns, and prepare an accurate repair plan.
    -The $79.99 fee covers the technician’s time to test, inspect, and document the condition of your scooter.
    -If you proceed with the repair, this fee is deducted from your final invoice.
    -If you choose not to proceed, you’ll only pay the assessment fee plus any applicable return shipping.


  3. Full Service – $99.99
    Our full-service package is designed to extend the life of your scooter and ensure safe, reliable performance.

What’s Included

  • Tightening and inspection of all bolts, screws, and fasteners
  • Folding mechanism tested and adjusted
  • Brake system inspection and alignment (cables, levers, discs, pads)
  • Tyre condition check, pressure adjustment, and inflation
  • Battery health check (visual and voltage output test)
  • Charging port inspected and cleaned
  • Electrical system test (throttle, lights, display, horn, indicators)
  • Steering column and headset inspection
  • Suspension and frame check for cracks, looseness, or wear
  • Lubrication of key mechanical components (where applicable)
  • Cleaning and light polish
  • Visual safety inspection and technician service notes

If your scooter brand isn’t listed, please contact us before booking -  in many cases, we can still assist depending on the issue and parts availability.

Repair Process

  1. Initial Inspection
    Once your scooter arrives at our service centre, our technicians perform a full inspection to identify any issues and confirm which parts require attention.

  2. Warranty Check

    We determine whether your repair is covered under warranty.

    If Covered:
    • Repairs are completed at no cost to you.
    • Shipping:
    • Using your own shipping label: Free return shipping.
    • Using our return label: Invoice for one-way shipping.
    • Dropping off/picking up in person: No shipping charges.
    If Not Covered:
    • You’ll receive a detailed repair quote outlining parts and labour.
    • If you approve: Repairs are completed and billed accordingly.
    • If you don’t approve: Only the $79.99 diagnosis fee applies.
    Shipping (Non-Warranty Repairs):
    • Using your own shipping label: Return shipping cost + any approved repairs.
    • Using our return label: Invoice for round-trip shipping.
    • Dropping off/picking up in person: No shipping charges.

Repair Process Overview

If the Issue is Covered Under Warranty:

  • Our team will carry out the necessary repairs at no cost to you.
  • Shipping fees:
    - If you used your own shipping label: There are no additional charges, we’ll ship the unit back to you free of charge.
    - If we provided a return label: You’ll receive an invoice for one-way shipping.
    - If you dropped off and are picking up the unit in person: No shipping fees apply.

If the Issue is Not Covered Under Warranty:

  • We’ll send you a detailed quote outlining the parts and labor required.
  • If you approve the quote: We’ll proceed with the repairs.
  • If you do not approve: You will only be charged the diagnostic fee.

Shipping fees:

  • If you used your own label: You’ll need to cover return shipping, in addition to any parts and labor (if approved).
  • If we provided the return label: You’ll receive an invoice for roundtrip shipping.
  • If you dropped off and are picking up the unit in person: No shipping fees apply.
