Scooter Hut is committed to 100% customer satisfaction, so we built our 90 day returns policy with the help of our customers! You are always welcome to return any unused merchandise in its original condition within 90 days from purchase for an exchange, credit, or a full refund (shipping cost excluded). We’ve heard every reason for returning a product, and the good news is, you don’t need to worry about coming up with an excuse! Whatever the reason, Scooter Hut is happy for you to return any unused item to us, in original condition, for an exchange, store credit or refund.
90 DAYS MEANS...
90 days means time for you to make the right choice! We don’t want you to make a rushed decision, we know how important getting your purchase right can be so we don’t want you to feel pressured. 90 days gives you time to reach out to us for advice, especially for compatibility or sizing, so that you can make an informed decision, it’s also very likely we can help with advice that will mean not having to return a product.
WHERE CAN I RETURN MY PURCHASE?
Whether you made your purchase online or in one of our retail showrooms, we want to ensure that returning a product is easy and stress free. You can return a product either back to our online warehouse or in any Scooter Hut Retail Store for an Exchange, Credit or Refund. Make sure you have your purchase information (such as order number, packing slip or receipt) handy so our team can finalise your return on-the-spot!
RETURNING AN ITEM TO THE ONLINE WAREHOUSE
With all returns being sent back to the Scooter Hut Online Warehouse, we ask that you please fill out the RETURNS FORM HERE with all of your order information to make finalising your return easier once we receive it.
Sending back for an Exchange/Store Credit:
Once we receive your return, we will contact you via phone or email to arrange for the exchange. If a store credit is requested, we will send you a notification email once the credit has been applied to your Scooter Hut account.
Sending back for a Refund:
Once we receive your return, we will issue a refund within 3 business days. The refund is issued back to the same method of payment on which your original order was placed.
RETURNS LABEL FOR AUSTRALIAN ORDERS
- Scooter Hut can provide you with a returns label (if needed), which allows you to take the parcel to your local Post Office and return it to us hassle-free. The cost of the Return Label is a $15 flat rate (set by Australia Post), which will be deducted from your credit or refund, or charged to you prior to us sending out a replacement product.
- Please note: Returns label can only be used to return pro and/or commuter products. Returning an Electric product will incur the full cost of shipping.
- Please note that most smaller items tend to be cheaper to send with your local post office. We suggest getting a quote from Australia post before using the returns label. You will not be charged unless the label is used for the return.

- We will gladly exchange your product/s bought in-store or online at any of our Scooter Hut Showrooms across Australia.
- Please have your original order number / receipt with you when going into the store. You will be able to return your items for an Exchange, Credit or Refund*.
- In some circumstances, Scooter Hut may offer a partial credit for a used product however this is at the discretion of the individual Scooter Hut store manager.
Please note, you will be refunded using the same method as original payment. I.e Credit Card, PayPal or AfterPay.
*If your purchase was made online, the refund will be actioned by our online customer service team as soon as possible, but may not be able to be done on the spot (specifically on weekends).
RETURNING AN E-TOOK LOCK
The code, that has been created for any locks, needs to be provided with the returned product.
RETURNING OVERSEAS ORDERS
You will be required to pay the entire freight costs for the product to be returned to us. Any parcel returned to us should be fully trackable and insured, as we accept no responsibility for lost or stolen packages on returned items.
Upon receipt of the returned items, a refund or credit note for the full value of the goods – minus the full cost to us of sending your order to you - will be issued within 24hrs. (please note; depending on your financial institution, the refunded money may take up to 5 working days to become available in your account). The refund is issued back to the same method of payment on which your original order was placed.
