Ordering is Easy & Risk Free!

Scooter Hut is committed to customer satisfaction- if you receive any merchandise that you are unhappy with for any reason, simply return it to us within 90 days, in the condition that you received it and we will happily exchange, credit or refund the product (excluding shipping costs). 

Scooter Hut Return Policy 

Australian orders

With ALL RETURNS we ask that you please fill out the RETURNS FORM to make finalising your return easier when received at our warehouse.

If you wish to return a product to us, please email us at service@scooterhut.com.au first, so that we can provide any information or advice that may mean not needing to return your product, such as compatibility requirements.

Scooter Hut can provide you with a returns label (if needed), which allows you to take the parcel to your local Post Office and return it to us hassle-free. The cost of the Return Label is a $15 flat rate (set by Australia Post), which will be deducted from your credit or refund, or charged to you prior to us sending out a replacement product.

Please note that most smaller items tend to be cheaper to send with your local post office. We suggest getting a quote from Australia post before using the returns label. You will not be charged unless the label is used for the return.

If you choose to exchange the product, we will contact you and arrange either a credit on your account for the value of the returned item or your choice of exchange item to be sent to you (any difference in costs will be worked out with you before dispatch of your exchange). Normal shipping costs still apply and if your credit or exchange do not cover the shipping we will organise an invoice for payment.

If you request a refund for your item, we will issue you a refund for the full value of the goods within 24hrs, excluding shipping costs. (Please note; depending on your financial institution, the refunded money may take up to 5 working days to become available in  your account). The refund is issued back to the same method of payment on which your original order was placed. 

With all returns, please fill out the RETURNS FORM and send back to us with your item so that we have all your information on hand to finalise your exchange, refund or credit.

Overseas orders (all countries and territories outside Australia) – change of mind or incorrect size ordered

If you wish to return a product to us, please email us at service@scooterhut.com.au 

You will be required to pay the entire freight costs for the product to be returned to us. Any parcel returned to us should be fully trackable and insured, as we accept no responsibility for lost or stolen packages on returned items.

Upon receipt of the returned items, a refund or credit note for the full value of the goods – minus the full cost to us of sending your order to you -  will be issued within 24hrs. (please note; depending on your financial institution, the refunded money may take up to 5 working days to become available in your account). The refund is issued back to the same method of payment on which your original order was placed.

If you choose to exchange the product, we will contact you and arrange either a credit note for the value of the returned item or your choice of exchange item to be sent to you. We may charge you the full cost of postage for the replacement product.

Faulty Item / Not What I Ordered

If you have received a faulty item or an incorrect item (Not what you ordered) that you would like refunded, repaired or replaced, please contact us via email to organise a free return of the item. In this circumstance, we will pay full costs for the return of the product and for sending out of the replacement product.

Warranty Claims

Most scooter parts come with a warranty. Please refer to our warranty page for full details.

Return Terms and Conditions

All items returned for refund or exchange must be returned in the original condition with tags attached and in their  original packaging (unless faulty). Please ensure all returned clothing items are free from marks, stains and rips as they may not be accepted for return if received damaged (unless faulty). Any returned hardware must be in a sellable condition (no scratches, marks, scuffs, etc). A refund will not be issued if you return a product that we deem unsellable. Any products that have been modified or fitted are unable to be returned. 

Boxed/Packaged Goods: When returning boxed or packaged goods please ensure you pack them inside a satchel & do not attach anything to the outside of the original packaging. Should the packaging be marked or in unsatisfactory condition there may be a chance that we will not accept your return.

Underwear and Earphones: Due to hygiene reasons, Scooter Hut is not able to accept returns on underwear or earphones

During peak returns periods, Scooter Hut cannot guarantee returns will be processed within 24 hours. If a size exchange is required we recommend placing a new order online and returning your original items for refund to avoid exchange items selling out.

Promotional discount offers will be honoured when exchanging size, but in the case your size request is unavailable or a refund is requested promotional offers will not be extended to your new order. Any free promotional items should be returned along with your order.
