6 January 2020 AUS Post Update

Due to the severe bushfire activity, Australia Post operations have been impacted in a number of locations including ACT, Victoria and NSW 

As safety is one of the top priorities and with hazardous smoke conditions continuing across ACT Australia Post have suspended postie and van deliveries until further notice. Mail addressed to Parcel Lockers and PO Boxes will be delivered as per normal.

17 December 2019 AUS Post Update

Due to ongoing bushfire activity, Australia Post operations have been impacted in a number of locations in NSW, QLD and WA. Safety is AUS Post's main priority, they are monitoring the situation closely, and will provide updates as information is made available.

We have been informed that Australia post's major sorting centres in NSW and one in QLD were shut down for a few days the week of the 09/12/19. Due to the poor air quality it was a dangerous work environment for Aus post workers in these facilities. Because of these closures no orders were leaving these facilities or being sent to them either. They have now reopened but this has meant any orders sent last week with Aus post have been delayed by a few days.
